as well as developing The Celebrant's Toolkit on

Carol provides contract teaching for several major colleges throughout Sydney and is also a certified teacher and facilitator of the Demartini Method ® involved in all aspects of motivational training consulting and facilitating at major events catering to hundreds of people. Carol is also a professional, practicing celebrant having been interviewed by Major Newspaper and Radio stations in the field of ritualism and rites of passage.

After studying business
administration at Millbank College of Commerce in the UK, Carol spent ten years with
Rockliff in various administration, sales, training, marketing, support,
and management roles. She was one of the original team of 6 people who built up the
Microcomputer division of the company (Norton Opax), which eventually became
Rockliff Microcomputers Limited and one of the largest systems integrators in
the UK. She became involved in all aspects of IT business operation during
her
time with this company.
Educational History
On completing High
School, Carol studied Business Administration at Millbank College of Commerce in the
UK before joining Rockliff, where she commenced a ten year practical in IT
gaining experience in all aspects of the business including: administration,
finance, budgeting, computing, order processing, accounting, customer service,
human resources, public speaking, demonstrating, sales, and management. Carol
was fortunate to undergo extensive private business training with IBM and other
leading computer companies at the time.
While working full time in Australia, Carol commenced a part time BA with Macquarie University in Sydney then paused study after two years to undertake a year of weekends studying for the newly released Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training (BSZ40198).
In 1999, Carol moved back to the UK to assist with the care of close family member, and because at that time, Macquarie University did not offer distance education, she was unable to recommence her study with them. However, on work experience and training, was accepted into a Master of Science in Information Technology by the University of Liverpool in England. She also qualifies for entry into several Masters Programs based on her work experience and industry training.

reporting.
In the community, Carol holds the Australian Government State office of Justice of the Peace and Federal Government office of Civil Marriage Celebrant, which calls for strong people skills; support of a multi-cultural society; a high level of communication skill, caring, compassion, and a lack of any type of bias. She is a member of the Word Wildlife Fund and a supporter of causes relating to wildlife, endangered species, and the environment.
At one time, Carol was referred to as a "Tigress of Technology" by The Australian newspaper in an article writing on the role of Women in IT, and has been invited to join the Australian Register of Women by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
